DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 Annual Update of the System Description for the TMI-2 Defueling Canister Dewatering System Pursuant to NRC letter dated February 4, 1982, the annual update to the System Description for the TMI-2 Defueling Canister Dewatering System is forwardeo for your information. This update, which constitutes Revision 5, includes the following changes:
o The Miscellaneous Waste Holdup Tank has been added as a transfer path for dewatering system effluent.
o The ability to use water and/or argon to backflush has been added, o
The cover gas pressure has been increased to 13-15 psig and the dewatering gas pressure has been increased to 40 psig.
o The canister pressure check has been revised to indicate that the canister is monitored for ten (10) minutes after removal of the relief valves, o
The flexibility to rewet the filter media using a backfill from DS-T-1 has been added, o
Installation of check valves V063A and V0638 to prevent the backflow of contaminated liquid into the argon manifold.
