Effective 20 August 1987, Professor Robert W. Witt is appointed to the Reactor Safety Comnittee replacing Professor Said Abdel-Khalik.
Prcfessce Witt did his undergraduate work in Mechanical Engineering with major interests in fluid flow and heat transfer.
His Masters and PhD degrees are in j
Nuclear Engineering, with a MS thesis on natural circulation in EBR-II and a PhD thesis on f ailure modes of field coils in long-pulse ignition systems.
