The inner cavity of the cask is a 300 Series stainless steel Schedule s
l 40 pipe with inside dimensions 6-1/16 inches in diameter x 13-13/16 lE inches high.
The outer shell is a 300 Series stainless steel Schedule k'
i 30 pipe 20-1/2 inch;s high. Shielding consists of depleted uranium lE l
l metal with a thickness of 2-3/4 inches The top opening plug is held in A
l place by eighteen, 1/2-inch studs equipped with nuts. The plug is j
sealed with a Neoprene gasket. The cask is mounted on a 14-inch g
square x 5/8-inch thick base plate.
