Although no records were located specifically relating to your request, the staff has provided the following information which may be ofinterest to you. An application was receis ed from Private Fuel Storage, for a Part 72 ISFSI license. The facility is proposed to be built on the reservation of the Skull Valley Band of Goshute Indians, a Federally-Recognized Indian Tribe.
The tribe and their reservation are considered to be a quasi-independent entity. Their relationship to the Federal Gosernment is the same as that of a State. While their reservation is located within the Boundaries of Tooele County, Utah, j
they are not part of the State of Utah. In addition, the NRC has been informed that Box Elder Spent Fuel Storage Initiatise, located in Box Elder County, Utah, intends to apply for a license, but has not done so as of this date.
