Generic Letter 96-06 Request for Additional In:or.7ation (RAl): Request for Extension By letter dated July 14,1998, the NRC requested licensees to provide additional information concerning Generic Letter 96-06, Supplement 1 (TAC NO. M96851). The July 14, 1998, letter requested the information by August 31,1998.
Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station requests extension of the submittal date to September 15, 1998.
Pilgrim requests extension because the development of the requested information indicates additional time will result in a more complete response to the RAl. The information also indicates this extension does not impact plant safety.
Based on a telephone call between Mr. Alan Wang (NRR) and Mr. P.M. Kahler (Pilgrim) on August 25,1998, no NRC written response to this request is required.
