Dear Mr. Liberatori:
I am writing to confirm the Westinghouse Owners Group (WOG) participation in a forthcoming briefing to the Commissioners of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The briefing was originally scheduled for June 12,1998, and is currently scheduled for 2:00 - 3:30 on September 15,1998, in the Commissioners' Conference Room on the first floor of the One White Flint building.
As I have discussed with you, and as documented in a letter to you from Brian Sheron, Acting Associate Director for Technical Review, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, dated May 15, 1998, the purpose of the briefing is to inform the Commissioners about the Owners Groups, their organization, budget, objectives, activities, recent successes, relationship with other Owners Groups, NEl, etc., and your presentations should address these areas as appropriate.
The discussions in the May 15,1998, letter of the briefing organization, the necessity for coordination with the other Owners Groups, and the guidelines for presentations to the Commission still apply. Please contact me if you will not be making the presentation for the WOG. Also, please provide 20 copies of your slides to Bill Hill of the Office of the Secretary by September 8,1998. Note that you are requested to bring 90 copies of your slides to the meeting for members of the public.
