REPORT DETAILS

1. Persons Contacted Licensee Employees J. Mangusi, General Manager - Operations D. Gray, Traffic Coordinator
2. Exit Interview An exit interview was held on December 1, 1987, with the persons listed in Paragraph 1 above. The licensee was advised that no violations of regulatory requirements had been identified.
3. Access Authorization / Facility Protection / Safeguarding National Security Information (81815/81820/81821)

There were no violations identified in these areas..

The inspector determined that the licensee was in receipt of his NRC Form 277 prior to allowing his access to Classified National Security Information at its Falls Church, VA, office. The inspector toured the facility and determined that its physical layout was as reflected in ' the NRC approved Security Plan with respect to the security room, cabinet safe and locked exterior door. Two employees were currently cleared, with clearance pending on a third individual. The safe was determined to be a Class 6 Mosler GSA approved container. The combination was last changed on July 22, 1987, and, the identities of both custodians were posted on the outside of the container.

The inspector found the monitor sheets available at the safe to be current. The previous month's monitor sign off records were also reviewed. The licensee relied upon burning for the destruction of classified documents.
