Letter from Mr. C. H. Cruse (BGE) to NRC Document Control Desk, dated July 26,1996, " License Amendment Request: Electrosleeving Option for Steam Generator Tube Repair" We hereby withdraw our July 26,1996 license amendment request to Operating License Nos. DPR-53 and DPR-69 to allow the repair of defective steam generator tubes by electrosleeving (Reference a). Our strategy for maintaining the existing steam generators has changed because of the decision we made to replace the Units I and 2 steam generators in 2002 and 2003, respectively. We have determined that we no longer need the electrosleeving option for the remaining short life of the existing steam generators.
