These positions are located at the callaway Site.
The Superintendent, Engineering, which is located in the Union Electric General Office, will. continue to report to the Manager, Nuclear Engineering.
In conjunction with the addition of the Assistant Manager, Work Control and the elimination of the Assistant Manager, Nuclear Engineering, Specification 6.5.1 is also revised to include the Assistant Manager, Work Control and the Manager, Nuclear Engineering as members of the On-Site Review Committee.
Attachments 1, 2,
3, and 4 provide the Proposed Technical Specification Changes, the Safety Evaluation, the Significant Hazard Evaluation, and the $150.00 application fee as required by 10CFR170.21.
The Callaway Plant On-Site Review Committee and Nuclear Safety Review Board have reviewed and approved this amendment request.
Transmitted via the reference letter was an amendment to delete Technical Specification Figures 6.2-1 and 6.2-2.
UE wishes to pursue that amendment request in parallel with this request.
If it is approved prior to February 1, 1988, the only portion of this request which would remain applicable, is the change to Specification 6.5.1 dealing with the On-Site Review Committee membership.
We request your expeditious review of this amendment request in support of the February 1, 1988 date on which these organization changes become effective.
Very truly yours, L/l h _\\ ?
