Dear Dr. Murley:
On December 1,
1986, Philadelphia Electric Company filed with the Commission, in accordance with 10 CFR Section 73.55, proposed revisions to the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Physical Security Plan implementing the August 4,
1986 amendments to the Commission's security regulations.
In a letter dated October 13, 19h7 and in a subsequent telephone conversation, the NRC staff requested that certain changes be made to the proposed revisions to the Security Plan.
Accordingly, there are transmitted herewith an original and three copies of a document entitled " Proposed Revisions to Physical Security Plan In Response to NRC Staff's Comments of October 13, 1987" dated December, 1987.
Pursuant to Sections 2.790 and 73.21 of the Commission's regulations, it is hereby requested that the enclosed documents be withheld from public disclosure.
An affidavit which supports this request is attached hereto.
