The purpose of this modification is to extend the contract period of performance at no additional cost. Now, therefore, the following changes are' made:

1. Change Section F.3 Duration of Contract Period to read as follows:

"This contract shall become effective on September 3, 1985 and shall continue through December 31, 1987 , at no additional _ cost to the Government."
