SUBJECT:
Request for Renewal of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Approval #0487, Quality Assurance (QA) Program for Transport of Type B Quantity of Radioactive Material 1.
At enclosure 1 is the QA Program of White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) implemented for U.S. NRC License No. 30-02405-05 IAW requirements contained in 10 CFR Part 71, Subpart H, for forwarding to the Director, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, U.S. NRC, Washington, DC 20555.

Subject program was originally approved by the WSMR Radiation Protection Committee (RPC) at its regularly scheduled meeting on 10 September 1982.
At the 16 September 1987 meeting, the RPC reviewed the program and found it to be adequate.

Package Approval.
On 20 September 1982, WSMR registered with the U.S. NRC Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards for use of Gamma Industries Gammatron-100, 100A, 200, and 200A radiography devices (USNRC Certificate of Compliance USA /9127B).
