Status of Licensed Operators Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that' Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) no longer requires the individuals listed below to perform duties as licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SR0s).
However, the need does exist for them to perform duties as licensed Reactor Operators.
Therefore, WCNOC requests that each of the SRO licenses be amended to limit their duties to those of licensed Reactor Operator.
Each of these individuals has met the necessary requalification requirements for a Reactor Operator license.
WCNOC requests that the NRC amend each of these operating licenses to read:
While performing licensed duties, you shall observe the operating procedures and other conditions specified in the facility's license which authorizes operation of the facility, and shall comply with the following conditions:
1 You shall perform licensed duties as a Reactor Operator only.
