The Commission

  • was briefed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation on the status and efforts to develop standardized nuclear power stations (SP-90 and AP-600) for design certification.

Presentations by Westinghouse representatives were made by the following:

- James S. Moore Vice President and General Manager Power Systems Business Unit

- James L. Gallagher, General Manager Nuclear Technology Systems Division

- Brian McIntire, Manager Product Licensing

- Theo VanDeVenne, Manager Advanced PWR Development

- Bill Johnson, Manager i

Nuclear Safety The Comniission stressed its expection that a standardized plant be designed as complete as possible with focus on optimization of maintenance and surveillance testing.
