basis and to ensure compliance with Appendix R requirements as' additional guidance has been provided.
Modifications associated with the previous Appendix R schedular exemption requests have been completed with.the following exceptions:
a) Reference.(j), discusses a short term, interim schedular exemption on fuse pulling related to a non-Appendix R modification which will not be complete on Unit 2 until the Spring 1988 refueling outage, b) Although the emergency lighting modification work discussed in References (h) and (i) was completed in July 23, 1987, some enhancements (involving reorienting and/or adding' supplemental lighting to existing battery packs) are ongoing. These enhancements are scheduled to be-completed by December. 31, 1987.
_This summary is provided in anticipation of the Appendix R audit scheduled for the week of December 14, 1987.
