AGENDA FOR CRGR MEETING NO. 326 The Committee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) will meet on Tuesday, August 11, 1998, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in Room T-285. The agendas is as follows:

9:00 am - 11:30 am.

J. Roe (NRR) and R. Spessard (NRR) wili present for CRGR review and endorsement the final rulemaking amending 10 CFR Part 50.55(a)(h), which will require that protection systems in nuclear power plants meet the requirements stated in IEEE Std. 603-1991, " Criteria for Safety Systems for Nuclear Power Generating Stations," which has superseded the now-withdrawn IEEE-Std. 279 by the same title (CRGR ltem No.194).

If a CRGR member cannot attend the meeting, it is his responsibility to ensure that an attemate, who is approved by the CRGR Chairman, attends the meeting. Persons making presentations to the CRGR are responsible for (1) ensuring that the information required for CRGR review is provided to the Committee (CRGR Charter - IV.8), (2) coordinating and presenting views of other offices, (3) as appropriate, ensuring that other offices are represented during the l

presentation, and (4) ensuring that agenda modifications are coordinated with the CRGR contact (Raji Tripathi,415-7584) and others involved with the presentation. Division Directors or l

higher management should attend meetings addressing agenda items under their purview.
