As requested by your letter of January 29... 1982, the Plant Hatch -
scenario / controller package for the December 8, 1987 exercise is hereby.
submitted for NRC review.
For reasons of confidentiality, the only copy of the scenario has been provided as requested to Mr. T. R. Decker, NRC Region II Emergency Preparedness Section Chief.
The scenario has been written for a full-scale exercise.
State and local governments will participate fully.
Additionally, FEMA will perform an evaluation of the drill response.
Due to the compressed exercise timeline, some portions of the off-site Georgia Power Company emergency organization may be repositioned.
Editorial improvements may be made to this package before the exercise date.
Any changes to the scenario will be discussed with your review team at the controller / evaluator briefing on December 7,1987.
Georgia Pow r Company will hold internal critiques following the exercise.
The 11RC exercise exit has been tentatively scheduled for December 11, 1987.
He request that the information provided in the enclosure be withheld from public disclosure until the exercise has been completed.
