Bomb Threat l
Our Region IV (Dallas) office was notified on December 8,1975, by the Plant Superintendent, Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1, that a bomb threat had been received from an unknown caller at the Unit 2 con-
.struction site that morning at 7:30 a.m.
The cessage was addressed to a Bechtel Construction Supervisor associated with Unit 2.
The caller stated that a bomb was set to go off at 10:05 a.m. in the turbine l
building.

Since the caller did not specify whether it was Unit 1 (which is in operation) or Unit 2 (which is under construction), the licensee evacuated both units from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Searches were l
made, but no bomb was found. The FBI and local sheriff were notified.
l Arkansas Power and Light has made a press release to a local radio i
station, KERV, Russelville.
Region IV inspectore are on site to conduct a previously - scheduled inspection.
IE:IV received initial notification of this occurrence ay telephone on December 8, 1975 from the Plant Superintendent, Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1.
