Inspection No. 50-199/87-02.
A routine, announced inspection of your research reactor facility was
conducted October 22-23, 1987. Areas reviewed included the radiological
controls program at the reactor facility. Specifically, the areas reviewed
included verification of. implementation of the Technical Specification
requirements, instrument calibration, surveys and sampling, organization,
and procedures.

The inspection indicated that the Radiological Controls program associated
with your research reactor is well managed and:that the Technical:
Specification requirements are being implemented. However, .the inspection
also identified a number of areas in which. improvements and clarifications

are needed. These areas are detailed in the attached inspection report.
