$ !- HIGHLIGHTS 3 7 ,Tre reporting period began with the unit in Mode 1 at the 801 power limit administratively imposed,to minimize steam generator tube l degradation.
On 8-1-87 power was reduced ?.o 40% to allow cleaning of the A-Soeth condenser hal f. Power was returned to 80% at 1940. hours on 0-2-87,.
On 8-8-87, power was again reduced ".o termit cleaning of all nain condenser .
halves and both feedpump condelsers. P w er was increased to 517 on 8-10-87, '
whereiit remained until 8-16-8/, when 'it was increased to 80%.
On 8-if-87, a unit shutdown was started as a precautionary measure af ter fin (ing' indications that the reactor coolant pump hatch bolts were not installed as designed, Further analysis bad investigations are to be conducted while the unit is out of service. Concurrently with the shutdown, a surveillance and maintenance outage is to be conducted.

Diesel Generator inoperable. Temporary repairs were completed with non-certified parts, and the systems were considered operable as
.long as the cross-tie valves remain open. ' Replacement with certified parts was accomplished and the west ESW header returned to service.
