Thank you for your letter dated October 29, 1987, in response to our letter of October 1, 1987.
As a result of the discussion with your Mr. John Bendokaitis during a telephone call on November 30, 1987 and December 1, 1987, we understand that Namco will revise their inter-office memorandum dated October 21, 1987 to add additional information concerning Nonconformance B.2 of NRC inspection report No. 99900378/87 01 dated October 1, 1987. The revision will delete the second sentence of the second paragraph of this memorandum under findings and an additional paragraph will be added to show that the lab technician had

recorded the wrong due date on the gage record card for thermocouple serial number TC-11.
The gage record card has been corrected to reflect the correct due date. The due date for the same thermocouple recorded on instrument equip-ment sheet of Test Report T.R. 3081 is now the same as the gage record card.
We understand that a copy of this revision will be provided to us within 30 days from the date of this letter.
We have no further questions at this time and will review your corrective i
action and preventive measures during c future inspection.
