The Commission is being asked to 14 act'on an order responding to two appeals of the Atomic 15 Safety and Licensing Board's Memorandum and Order LVP 98-7, 16 which ruled on petitions to intervene in a proceeding on an 17' application by Private Fuels Storage, L.L.C.,
PFS, for a 18 22-year Part 72 license.
19 In one appeal, Private' Fuels Storage seeks 20' reversal of the Board's ruling that the Confederated Tribes 21 of the Goshute Reservation has standing to intervene in this 22 proceeding.
23 In another appeal, Scientists for Secure Waste 24 Storage seeks teversal of the Board's ruling denying SSWS
.n, 25-discretionary intervention.
