Green River phase II' Preliminary Design BACKGROUND: Excavation.is planned to descend to elevation 4,110-4,115 feet.
Current data, presented at the September 15 on-board review meeting . .
indicate such an excavation will result in' near total removal' of the Dakota Sandstone, and placement of tailings atop the Cedar Mountain-Formation. I
SUMMARY
- Mr. Rager acknowledged that the design document, stating that excavation would not encounter the Cedar Mountain, and that the unit would not form the tailings foundation, was in error. This item should be disregarded. The design document will be appropriately revised.
ACTION REQUIRED: Staff will address this issue in a connent on the document.
