.R# cent information has come to my attention that a number of communications occurred between Northeast Utilities management ofHeinsi and the NRC Commissioners
.i durins $14 latter part of1997, and possibly early 1998. [
,n The letters are apparently a direct result of the hahl Blanch visit of November 14, 1998. Theletters were sent by Mr. Blanch and at leasf two NU managers to the-Comniissioners. Apparently Mr. Blanch arranged for.the letters to be sent. Please forward to me cbpics et the letters by them to the Commissioners during the' period described above. ltwould also be useful to know which NU officials sent letters to which CommisWoners. If the letters were docketed please provide the information so I may retrievethem from the LPDR.
