) 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS / SEARCH REQUIREMENTS This is in response to a letter dated October 8, 1987 from J. A. Zwolinski (NRC) to S. A. White which requested additional information on miscellaneous amendments / search requirements referenced in the BFN Physical Security / Contingency Plan (PS/CP) submittal dated November 26, 1986. Per an October 28, 1987 telephone conversation between Gene McPeek, NRR, and TVA, we are responding to the September 15, 1987 submittal of the BFN PS/CP miscellaneous amendments which replaced the November 26, 1986 submittal referenced in the October 8, 1987 letter.

The additional information reguested in the October 8, 1987 letter is provided in the enclosure and attached revised pages. Each response is provided below the initial comment with reference to the response location in the BFN PS/CP on the provided revised page. These revised pages are replacement pages for those'provided to NRC in our September 15, 1987 BFN PS/CP miscellaneous amendment submittal. By separate correspondence, Region II is being provided the same page replacements for inclusion in the 50.54(p) submittal sent to NRC by letter dated September 21, 1987.
