l' In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54 (p), Georgia Power Company (GPC) hereby submits an amendment to the Plant Hatch Physical Security Plan.
The enclosed amendment revises previously submitted provisions for temporary unescorted access of outage personnel to the protected and vital areas.
This amendment has been effected in order to provide for access of' personnel arriving at the site for the Unit 2 refueling outage, currently scheduled to commence January 13, 1988.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p), we have determined that the enclosed amendment does not constitute a decrease in the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
Enclosure 1

detailed description of the revisions incorporated by this amendment and the circumstances requiring the revisions.
