• These devices shall.be leak tested at intervals not to exceed 6 months using techniques capable of detecting 0.005 microcurie (185 Bq) of removable contamination.

• REVIEWER NOTE: The license reviewer should request procedures from the licensee as necessary to comply with the survey.and posting requirements of 10 CFR Part 20.

SUMMARY

The device is locked in a closed position and only emita a maximum 0.0 mrem /hr (8 pSv) at one (1) foot (30.4 8 cm) from the device.when in this position. The device will only be operated in the open position by an individual authorized by NRC.

Based on. review of calibration device, Model D-0062, and the

information cited below, we continue to conclude that this device l .is acceptable for specific licensing purposes.
