AND EMF-1997(P), SUPPLEMENT 1, REVISION 0, "ANFB-10 CRITICAL '
POWER CORRELATION:' HIGH LOCAL PEAKING RESULTS"
Dear Mr. Curet:
We have completed our review of the' subject topical reports that were submitted by the
- Siemens Power Corporation (SPC) by letters dated October 30,1997, and January 29,'1998.
The reports are acceptable for referencing in licensing applications to the extent specified and . 1 under the limitations delineated in the repork and in the associated NRC safety evaluation, which is enclosed. The safety evaluation defines the basis for acceptance of the reports.' i
. We do not intend to repeat our review of the matters described in the reports and found
. acceptable when the reports appears as. a reference in license applications, except to assure that the material presented is applicable to the specific plant involved, Our acceptance applies only to the matters described in the reports.
In accordance with procedures established in NUREG-0390, it is requested that SPC publish accepted versions of these reports, proprietary and non-proprietary, within 3 months of receipt of this letter. The accepted versions shall incorporate this letter and the enclosed evaluation
'between the title page and the abstract. The accepted versions shall include an -A (designating accepted) following the report identification symbor
- Should our criteria or regulations change so that our conclusions about acceptability of the reports are invalidated, SPC and the licensees referencing the topical reports will be expected to revise and resubmit their rr apective documentation, or to submit justification for the l continued effective applicability of the topical reports without revision of their respective L documentation.
