LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION Request for Additional Inf<.,,mation (RAl) on the License Renewal Application (LRA) for CCNPP submitted by BG&E are identified in the Enclosure. ATTACHMENT RAI on the Reactor Pressure Vessels (RPVs) and Control Element Drive Mechanisms (CEDMs)
/ Electrical System for CCNPP License Renewal:
- 1) Eight device types were listed in Section 4.2.1.2, Appendix A of the License Renewal Application (LRA) as ponhns of the RPVs and CEDMs/ Electrical System that are within scope for license renewal. Was a0y of the portions which were passive and not subject to replacement based on a qua4fied life or specified time period ("long-lived") excluded from the scope? If so, please identify trose.
- 2) Will all the components within each of the three device types listed in Table 4.2-1 be covered under AMR7 If not, please identify those which will not be covered.
RAI on the Reactor Vessel Intemsis (RVI) System for CCNPP License Renewal:
- 1) As indicated in the LPA, BG&E developed a listing of component names for RVI specifically for license renewal, using controlled plant drawings as the source of information. Please provide for staff review the listing of component names that was developed for license renewal, and the controlled plant drawings that were used as the source of information.
- 2) Will all the components within each of the device types listed in Table 4.3-1 be covered under AMR7 If not, please identify those which will not be covered.
