Donny Dicharry:
On June 25,1998, the NRC authorized AEA Technology /QSA, Inc., (AEA) to proceed with fabrication of the Model Nos.
OP-660 and OPle660 packages. You may determine what is going on with these licensees by reviewing the public docket files.
At this time there are no public meetings scheduled that involve either AEA or Industrial Nuclear Company, Inc. All meetings open to the public are listed in the NRC web site (nrc. gov) under News and Information.
I hope this answers your questions.

Tom:
Please confirm or refute a the rumor that the suspension against Amersham to fabricate Type B packages has been lifted. I am aware that the Certificate of Compliance for the 660 series cameras has been revised.
Perhaps that is the cause of the rumor.
Also, will a public meeting be held at the NRC to evaluate tle QA culture and attitudes at Industrial Nuclear and Amersham before the CAL suspension (s) are lifted? We might want to attend the portions of the meeting that are open to the public.
