NRC-04-94-053 Modification No. 23 Page 1 of 2 The purpose of this modification is to: (1) exercise the third option year in accordance with Section B.3(4) and 1.3, (2) extend the period of performance, and (3) increase the ceiling and obligated amounts by $292,134 from $1,171,356.00 to $1,463,490. Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
- 1. Under Section B.4, Consideration and Obligation, paragraphs a. and d. are deleted in their entirety and the following paragraphs are substituted in lieu thereof:
"a. The total estimated cost to the Govemment for full performance of NRC's portion of this contract (Base period + option year 1, option year 2, and option year 3) is
$1,171,356.00 of which the amount of $ 1,393,192 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and the amount of $70,298 represents the fixed fee.
- d. The amount currently obligated by the govemment for the NRO's portion of the work is $1,463,490."
- 2. In accordance with Section 1. 3, " Option to Extend the Term of the Contract," Section l F.5, Duration of Contract Period, is revised as follows: ;
"Although the Govemment contemplates use of the system (s) (hardware and software) for the life of 5 years from the date of installation, the term of this contract is from 8/5/94 through 8/4/99. There are no option years remaining under this contract. '
All other terms and conditions of the subject contract remain unchanged.
A summary of obligations, from the award date through the date of this modification, are provided below:
Total FY 94 NRC Obligations: $ 300,000.00 Total FY 95 NRC Obligations: $ 255,683.00 Total FY 96 Obligations: $ 282,830.00 Total FY 97 Obligations: $ 328,026.00
