OPERATIONS

SUMMARY

OCTOBER, 1987 The unit entered October operating at 100% power.

The plant continued operating at that power level for the entire month.

Gross electrical generation was approximately 870 MWe, The NRC ovaluated the successful completion of the annual emergency plan drill, MAJOR SAFETY RELATED MAINTENANCE During the month of October, TMI Unit 1 performed no major maintenance on
