The referenced letter requested that Union Electric develop procedures to inspect the Pressurizer Code Safety Valves after each lift involving a loop seal or water discharge.
In the event of loop seal or water discharge, the plant will j
be placed in Mode 5, Cold Shutdown.
Maintenance will either replace the safety with another tested safety or dismantle the safety and inspect it for signs of damage prior to placing the unit back in service.
