Unit 1 began the month of June 1998 at nominal 90% of rated thermal power (RTP),

continuing post-1R07 power ascension. Power was at 90% due to #1 and #2 heater level control problems.

On June 5,1998 at 0600 hours0.00694 days <br />0.167 hours <br />9.920635e-4 weeks <br />2.283e-4 months <br />, the unit reached 100% of RTP.

On June 5,1998 at 2200 hours0.0255 days <br />0.611 hours <br />0.00364 weeks <br />8.371e-4 months <br /> power was reduced to 92% of RTP for turbine testing.

Power was restored to 100% of RTP on June 6,1998 at 1204 hours0.0139 days <br />0.334 hours <br />0.00199 weeks <br />4.58122e-4 months <br />.

On June 6,1998 at 1619 hours0.0187 days <br />0.45 hours <br />0.00268 weeks <br />6.160295e-4 months <br /> power was reduced to 70% of RTP for control rod pattern adjustment. 1. Narrative Summary of Operatina Experiences Unit 2 began the month of June 1998 at 0% rated thermal power (RTP) with 2M23 maintenance outage in progress.

On June 14,1998 at 0108 hours0.00125 days <br />0.03 hours <br />1.785714e-4 weeks <br />4.1094e-5 months <br />, reactor criticality was achieved during start up after the 2M23 maintenance outage. On June 16,1998 at 0642 hours0.00743 days <br />0.178 hours <br />0.00106 weeks <br />2.44281e-4 months <br />, the main turbine generator was synchronized to the grid ending the 2M23 maintenance outage.

On June 18,1998 at 1030 hours0.0119 days <br />0.286 hours <br />0.0017 weeks <br />3.91915e-4 months <br />, power increased to 100% of RTP.

On June 19, 1998 at 0015 hours1.736111e-4 days <br />0.00417 hours <br />2.480159e-5 weeks <br />5.7075e-6 months <br />, power was reduced to 80% of RTP for a control rod pattem adjustment. Powerwas restored to 100% of RTP at 1740 hours0.0201 days <br />0.483 hours <br />0.00288 weeks <br />6.6207e-4 months <br />.
