SUBJECT:
EXPANDED AGENDA FOR JAPAN VISIT The attached memorandum to R. Hauber dated October 23, 1987, identifies a planned staff visit to Japan (now scheduled for early February 1988) and provides a list of discussion topics which are of interest to PDSNP and relate to the on-going ABWR review. We request that you review the discussion topics in order to identify areas of mutual interest related to the ABWR that may have been omitted. We also request that you provide a list of specific questions that you may have related to the additional topics you identify, as well as for those topics identified in the attachment.
Please provide your comments and questions by December 14, 1987, in order that they may be transmitted to the Japanese in advance of our visit now scheduled for February 1, 1988.
