The subject for the affirmation item is 9
SECY 87-184, it's a request for hearing by David Held on a 10 denial of senior reactor operator's license at Beaver Valley 11 Unit 1.
In this paper, the Commission is being asked to 12 respond to a request for a hearing by Mr. Held on the denial of

13 his senior reactor operator's license.
n 14 All Commissioners have approved an order which is 15 attached to our Memorandum of August 5th, which grants the 16 request for a hearing and directs the Chairman of the Atomic 17 Safety & Licensing' Board Panel to designate a single member of 18 that panel to act as the presiding officer.
The NRC and Mr.
19 Held will be the parties to the informal adjudication.
20 Would you please affirm your votes.
