NRC STAFF MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME The staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Staff) hereby moves the Licensing Board for a one-week extension of time in which to respond to the July 6,1998 Supplement to Intervention Petition filed by the Citizens Regulatory Commission (CRC). This extension is needed because Staff counsel did not receive the Supplement mailed by CRC. After a telephone conversation with counsel for CRC, a facsimile copy was received from CRC just before 11:00 AM on July 15, 1998. The new date for response would be July 27,1998 to both address standing and to respond to the contentions. Counsel for CRC and for the Licensee have no objection to the granting of this motion.
Respectfully submitted, Richard G. Bachmann Counsel for NRC Staff l
