'l II. Monthly Report for Byron Unit 2 for the month of October 1987 A. Summary of Operating Experience for Unit' 2 - ,

-The unit began this reporting period in Mode 1 at 88% power. At 1323 on'10/1/87 a reactor trip' occurred. On 10/2/87 at 0445 the unit was-synchronized.to the grid. At 0446, the same day, a turbine' trip, reactor trip occurred due to hi steam generator level. At 1855 on aj

'10/3/87 the reactor was taken critical. At 2347, the same day, a 4 generator trip occurred. The unit was synchronized to the grid at i 0913 on 9/4/87. power was increased to 94% by 10/8/87. The unit.  ;

operated at power levels of up to 95% for the rest of:the' reporting j period.
