Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Manchester to reject a

recommendation that it become a host community in the event of a radiological emergency at Seabrook. The City of Manchester Board also

determined to reconsider its decision at some later date.
Responses to the joint motion were filed by the Applicants on 4
July 31, 1987 and the NRC Staff on August 3, 1987.

Th'e Licensing Board believes that the views of the Attorney General of the State of New Hampshire on the admissibility of this late-filed contention are needed before we can rule on the joint motion.
Accordingly, we direct the Attorney General of the State of New Hampshire to respond by August 18, 1987.
