4-REVISED MOTION 0F ATTORNEY GENERAL JAMES M. SHANNON TO AMEND THE HEARING SCHEDULE Attorney General James M. Shannon' filed a motion dated
- Julyf17, 1987 to amend the hearing schedule due to the observance of'the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur by several assistant. attorneys general'on this case.. The Attorney General wishes to inform the Board that he erred in that motion when he
. stated, based on an inaccurate desk calendar, that the holiday was to be observed on October'1 and 2, 1987.
The holiday does
-not commence until the late afternoon of October 2, 1987.
'Accordingly, the Attorney General is filing this revised motion to suspend:the hearings early on October 2, 1987, so that persons who observe the holiday may do so.

The NRC Staff has informed the Attorney General that it also supports this motion; that certain counsel to the Staff 1
will need to fly back to Washington, D.C.
in the early afternoon of October 2, 1987 in order that they may observe the holidays with their families.
Therefore, out of deference to the NRC Staff, the Attorney General moves that the Licensing Board suspend the hearings on October 2, 1987 at 1:00 p.m.
Respectfully submitted, James M.
