REQUEST FOR WITHHOLDING PROPRIETARY INFORMATION FOR WESTINGHOUSE LETTERS DATED DECEMBER 14,1992, AND DECEMBER 17, 1992
Dear Mr. McIntyre:
Enclosed with this letter is a table of Westinghouse letters you submitted which contain proprietary meeting slides that Westinghouse used during presentations to the staff on December 9, and 10,1992, and December 14,1992. We have reviewed the subject materialin accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.790, however, the staff is not able to make a determination because the staff has no record of a non-proprietary version of the slides being submitted to the staff, Please review your files and determine if a non-proprietary version of the slides was submitted to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
In addjtion, you are requested to review yourclaim and to notify the staff of what portions of the slides, if any, are still considered company proprietary. If the information is not received within 30 days of the date of this letter, we intend to place the subject documents in the NRC Public Document Room. if within thirty (30) days of this letter, you request withdrawal of these documents in accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790(c), or provide additional reasons for the withholding of information from the documents enclosed, your request will be considered in light of applicable statutes and regulations and a determination made whether the documents will be withheld from public disclosure or retumed to you.
