Dear Mr. Griepentrog:

Thank you for your letter dated August 3,1987, in response to our June 1987 follow-up review of your Agreement State Radiation Control Program. The' plans for program improvement outlined in your letter, when implemented, should permit us to make a finding of adequacy and compatibility for the program.

Due to the seriousness of the problems identified, we urge.that the steps be instituted as'soon as possible. We plan to conduct a follow up review to assess progress being made.

We' reiterate our offer to provide any' reasonable training and technical assistance that you may need to assure a successful program.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Region V State Agreenents Representative or this office at any time.
