'1000 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, DC 20585 This is in reference to the previous correspondence from us requesting the temporary rotation of Mr. Gary Goldberg of your staff to the incident Response Division in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. COE's decision on the original request was deferred pending some developments within DOE. I understand that DOE is now prepared to reconsider our request on the subject rotationa! assignment for a period of six months. If approved, our staffs can work out the details for the rotation to begin on or around August 3,1998, until January 29,1999.
