Dear Mr. Varga:
i This letter provides an update on the status of the one-time vendor manual update program and. maintenance procedure update program for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station pursuant to Generic Letter 83-28, Items 3.1.2 and 3.2.2.
The three remaining maintenance procedures to be updated were completed prior to September 14, 1986, as committed to in the Reference 1 letter.
The Reference 1 letter indicated that we expected to complete the one-time vendor manual update program, with the exception of the emergency diesel-generator manuals, in October l
1986.
During review of completed documentation and continuing efforts to improve our Nuclear Records Management System we determined that an additional 20 manuals required vendor contact to fully implement our commitment to the Generic Letter.
Vendor l
contact has been made for these manuals, and we are awaiting their response.

J The diesel generator manual update project, as discussed in our Reference 2 letter, is proceeding as scheduled
