dated June 12, 1987. We have reviewed your reply and find it' responsive to-l the concerns raised in our Notice of Violation. Regarding.the-corrective i

steps outlined by you for this violation, we expect that your review of the l

NEB 0 master file of Potential Reportable Conditions initiated during _ the past three years will include any instances where you applied the Monticello bounding I

calculations and concluded that the events were nonreportable. Your current understanding, that any deficiency that leads to exceeding a safety limit specified in a licensee's technical specifications must be reported pursuant-to the provisions of 10 CFR Part 21, is correct.

We have no further questions at this time and will review your corrective action and preventive measures during a future inspection.
