Lippold (BG&E) to NRC Document Control Desk, dated October 31, 1987,- same subject Gentlemen:
l The replaced section of two-inch ISI Class 2 piping, discussed in Reference. (a),
consists of the second and third elbows interior of the e,ontainment for the No. 22 steam generator' bottom blowdown line.
IWC-3000 required repair or replacement of the pipe. The repair and replacement will be done in accordance l
with IWA-4000 and IWA-7000. Code Case N-416 provides an acceptable alternative s
to the system hydrostatic test required by IWA-4400.
