This letter is written in response to the Licensing Board's " Memorandum (Notice Aegarding issuance of Decision on Admissibility of Physical Security Plan Contentions d;&d June 29,
- 1998. In accordance with that Memorandum, the NRC Staff (" Staff") wishes to inform you that its review of the Licensing Board's " Memorandum and Order (Ruling on State of Utah Physical Security Plan Contentions)," LBP-98-13 (June 29,1998), has not identified any Safeguards Information, as defined in 10 CFR 73.2. Accordingly, the Staff would rot object to the Licensing Board's publication and distribution of that Memwandum and Order as part of the public record of this proceeding.
The Staff has been advised by Counsel for the State of Utan and Counsel for the Applicant that those parties concur in this determination.
