On September 15, 1976, at approximately 1:00 p.m., 25-30 persons representing this group stopped at the entrance to the Davis-Besse facility. The licensee indicated the group was peaceful and they left the site after approximately two hours. No formal rally was held.

Information distributed by the group indicated that their purpose Wi is to raise the issue of the arms race and to change national priorities r
from militarism to human needs. One group member indicated to the licensee that they were not really against nuclear power.
TECo received no prior formal notification of the group's intention to stop at the site. No media coverage existed, and no press release is planned.
The Otte.wa County Sheriff was notified when the groep was seen walking

along the highway toward the site, and a Deputy patrolled the area

periodically.
His assistance was not required.

telephone from the Plant Superintendent at approximately 3:00 p.m. on September 15, 1976.
