i Preparations are underway for' reorganization of management of nuclear nresident i
activities by placing all such activities under a single Senior Vice 1
- Nuclear. Updates #111 be provided, as information becomes available, in subsequent reports.
The Peach Bottom Commitment to Excellence Action Plan, as submitted August 7 and revised in our responses of September 28, has 95 Category 1 Tasks from Sections 5.1 to 5.5 to be closed prior to restart. Work has been completed on 20 of these tasks.
In addition there are 70 open connitments/open items. from Sections 5.6 to 5.9 of the Action Plan to be completed prior to restart. Work has been completed on 12 of these items.
Primarily because of changes in scope as we continue to develop the Plan, our-target date for completion, including Quality Assurance.close out, of Category-I. Task and Item.is January 18, 1988.
The bar graph schedule for Category I activities which follows (pages 2' to 17) reflects our current schedule for each task or item. In addition,~the schedule reflects additions or deletions to Category I tasks or items since our. August 7 submittal.
Some of these additions or deletions are discussed in our September 28 response to the NRC. Other additions or deletions are a result of our effort to eliminate duplication of tasks.or re-evaluation of category assignments for Open Commitment / Item List (Sections 5.6 to 5.9).
