Outstanding EDCR packages Gentlemen:
Reference (b), in part, expressed concern about the length of time that twenty-two design changes had remained open.

Maine Yankee reviewed the design packages and determined eighteen of the packages had received all of the necenary drawi.ng and document updates resulting from the design changes.
The packages had remained open pending final review by the Project Engineer. During the inspection, these packages were reviewed and closed by the Project Engineers.
The remaining four packrges are presently under final review.
Outstanding EDCRs requiring close-out are now reported to management in a Monthly Report.
This should assure that EDCR's are closed out in a timely manner.
